The Park’s Visitor Centre serves as the first contact enabling the user to discover the distinctive characteristics of the protected area through displays and a multimedia laboratory. The building, set on a natural vantage point, is located at Prato di Resia. The centre also houses the Park authority’s headquarters, teaching laboratories, dedicated rooms, temporary exhibitions and displays, a library and a small shop selling publications and gadgets. Outside the centre, a natural trail has been reopened which serves as a truly educational route. This short walk crosses some of the Park’s most significant habitats and is also suitable for children.
The centre is also equipped with guest quarters containing 20 beds to accommodate researchers, hikers and students.
