Casera Cjariguart or the D. Bellina refuge (1,405 m) offers a well-equipped and comfortable base for hikers going to the glacial cirque of the magnificent Cjariguart basin and Mount Plauris.
This unstaffed but always open mountain refuge is fitted with 16 beds and a well-equipped kitchen and has an outside source of running water.
Access is along the Rio Lavārie valley, past the Franz refuge (CAI – Italian Alpine Club – trail no. 701). There are various trails leading from the refuge: to Mount Plauris (CAI trail no. 701), to the peaks of Cima Cervada and Cima Larici and to the little church of St. Anthony the Great via the Cjasute di Coi refuge.
