All three of the below-mentioned areas are located in Alta Val Torre, in the Municipality of Lusevera, and are well indicated by "camper-service" signs. Other than having a rich historical, linguistic and cultural heritage of age-old tradition, this region is characterised by an extremely picturesque and interesting natural landscape, composed of woodland, rocky terrain and karst caves and it is therefore no coincidence that a substantial part of it is found within the Julian Prealps Park.
- In Vedronza, there is a designated area in the sports fields area with facilities for 30-40 campers, at a little more than 500 metres distance from the town. The site provides drinking water points and waste water disposal points with special self-cleaning drains. In case of need, nearby there is also a large covered block equipped with drinking water and electricity, subject to agreement with the Municipality. Use of the site, set in a scenic spot, is free and at present there is no maximum stay limit (48-72 hours). - Another free site with facilities for 20 campers can be found in Villanova delle Grotte, near the Terminal Grotte trattoria, where you can also sample traditional local dishes. The area is particularly popular as it is the way in to the Grotte di Villanova (Villanova Caves) which are partially illuminated and open to even the most inexpert tourist. This site also has waste water disposal points with self-cleaning drains, as well as drinking water points. Stays are limited to 48-72 hours, but for extensions, it is sufficient to contact the Terminal Grotte (tel. and fax 0432 787020).
- Immersed in the greenery of the Julian Prealps Nature Park, at the foot of the Mount Musi range, in the locality of Pian dei Ciclamini, you can find the Hotel Restaurant "Ai Ciclamini" and the Park’s Visitor Centre and Guest lodge, both important bases for tourists, offering countless recreational, sporting and nature activities. There are facilities for 5-6 campers near the building, which also offers the chance to sample the local specialities of Alta Val Torre. As the others, this site also provides waste water disposal points with self-cleaning drains and drinking water points. The site is free for stays of 48–72 hours, extendable by contacting the Hotel Restaurant “Ai Ciclamini” (tel. 0432 787084).
